St James Church, main square and Our Lady's Statue

There will often be many praying around the statue. The building to the left of St James is a new set of confessionals. There is a set of about 20 others on the left side of St James behind the trees.

Inside St James Church

The church was completed in the 1950's. The village was very small then and the builder was asked why he made it so large. He replied that he felt called to make it that size.

The Outside Altar

This was built later to handle the crowds. It is not used during Winter. This photo was taken during the 33rd Anniversary June 2014. The crowds extended another 100m behind the camera.

The Adoration Chapel

This is used every day between 2pm and the start of the evening prayer service (5pm Winter, 6pm Summer). Other times it is used for language masses for smaller pilgrim groups.
